The Clinical Laboratory Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of a specific department. Responsible for maintaining compliance and meeting all technical regulatory requirements of certification for the specific area of lab and is knowledgeable of advanced scientific principles within the specialty area and applies that knowledge to the technical, procedural, and research of the area.
