SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: This is a morning relief coordinator position. Filling in for the regular coordinator any time they are not scheduled.
Maintain day-to-day operations while performing specific job functions. Inforce policies & procedures as necessary. Give work direction to others. Resolve problems and redirect personnel when necessary. Set the bar for personnel to follow. Rearrange staff as need to cover the business needs of the day.
Communication: Effectively demonstrates communication skills related to conveying relevant information. Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes to support the activities of the Department. Keep key leadership fully informed of issues in a timely manner.
Customer Service: Serves as the first line of contact and a resource. Demonstrates effective customer service to employees and/or visitors. Resolve customer satisfaction issues taking initiative to manage conflict in a proactive fashion. Make sure that the cafe and dining room is always well stocked, clean and presentable for the customers.
Safety: Maintain safety program within the department. Ensure safety concerns are reported appropriately. Be a good safety example.
Be welcoming to customers and staff, including helping to train new staff.
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
