About the role: Under the direction of the Manager of IT Collaboration and Communication Services (CCS), the CCS Engineer will join a highly collaborative team which is responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and support of various cloud technologies including the Premise Health Microsoft 365 (M365) environment and associated applications. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative setting with team members across the country. This role requires outstanding time management and communication. The candidate will also display superior attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple requests or projects at a time.
Essential Functions:
Perform engineering and administration of M365 environment, including environment configuration, performance & health monitoring, migrations, deployment of new applications, and more.
Provides creative and technical support for the development of new ideas and application/process design approaches to meet corporate needs within M365.
Provides support for M365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online (SPO), Power Platform, OneDrive, Office applications, and other platform applications as needed.
Assist in creation of new SPO sites, Teams, Groups, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and other end-user requests.
Fulfill user-generated incident tickets and work requests as escalated by the team’s Associate Engineer role or delegated by team leadership.
Provide training and support by interacting directly with team members of varying levels of technical expertise.
Plan and execute after-hours maintenance, implementations, and deployments as needed to meet project timelines and enterprise demand, minimizing business impact.
Evaluate project demands, gather requirements, and prepare specifications from which solutions will be developed and implemented.
Provide after-hours support for critical incidents as needed.
Research, analyze, and formulate recommendations regarding technologies, products, and solutions to fulfill requirements within the enterprise. May communicate with vendors and service providers to gain a clear understanding of product or service capabilities and costs.
Participate in M365-related projects as a technical resource or project lead.
Leverage PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate or other scripting languages to perform regular maintenance and administrative functions within the M365 environment.
Develop solutions using PowerShell, Power platform, and other tools as required.
Create and maintain custom solutions via SPFx, JSON view formatting in SPO, PowerApps, or other custom M365 and development technologies.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related degree, or relevant experience and accomplishments.
Microsoft 365/Office 365 or related certification desired.
At least 3 years of dedicated collaboration platform Engineer/Analyst experience in an enterprise environment. Strong preference for experience in one or more Microsoft tenants.
Thorough experience in the Support and Administration of M365 or other similar collaboration platforms. Must have a strong working knowledge of out-of-the-box capabilities, features, and configurations.
Extensive experience writing administrative scripts in PowerShell.
Exposure to Microsoft’s Power Platform and its various integrations to SPO, Outlook, etc.
Experience developing solutions via SPFx and/or similar development technologies
Proven experience must indicate a record of information security awareness and discipline in systems administration.
Prior experience administering Active Directory including Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory. Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), and DNS a plus.
Experience interacting with people at a variety of technical and management levels.
Experience with tenant-to-tenant and platform migrations (to include email, cloud drives, intranets, etc.) strongly desired.
Experience with management and creation of Zoom user accounts and/or providing end-user support for issues related to Zoom (or Microsoft Teams) meetings preferred.
Experience with Salesforce administration and either technical configuration and/or end-user support a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Solid understanding of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and SPFx
Strong knowledge of SharePoint’s Web Service Interfaces, standard and enterprise features, etc. Familiarity with Server Side and Client Side Object Models preferred.
Familiarity with XML, SQL, and REST.
Understanding of .NET Framework, C#, and/or React a plus.
Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies, techniques, and strategies.
Creative and design abilities utilizing JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Typescript, or other web technologies is a plus.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, SQL server, firewalls / firewall rules, and load balancing technologies as they relate to SharePoint technologies preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, experience in a transactional high-volume, high availability production environment.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal skills must include a willingness to work as an alternate / backup for others’ areas of responsibility, train other team members as alternates / backup for areas of responsibility and an ability to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teammates.
Produce and maintain accurate documentation.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously by effectively managing priorities and adjusting as needed.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated Colorado and New York City compensation is $70,000 - $75,000.
