The role you’ll contribute:
The Talent Sourcing Supervisor supervises the sourcing team and members. Leads the team to ensure execution on all aspects of the national sourcing efforts to develop a robust pipeline of talent. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition leadership to understand position requirements and establish effective sourcing strategies and processes. Analyzes, interprets and presents analytics and metrics to leaders and team; reviews performance and metrics with sourcing team to hold the team accountable to goals and expectations. Direct sourcing responsibility also includes building talent pipelines for specialized hard to fill roles that traditionally might go to agency recruitment firms. Ensures the sourcing team’s process closely mirrors that of traditional agency recruitment firms, but from the framework of an internal talent acquisition department. Plays an active role in the training, development and growth of the sourcing team. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Manages all aspects of sourcing team including hiring, termination, performance management, and disciplinary actions; other duties include monitoring daily activities and special projects/initiatives to ensure outcomes are met on time and according to weekly and monthly expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Sources talent through various mediums including internal and external candidate databases, networking, associations, social media, referrals, Boolean search strings, online and traditional directories as well as other innovative sourcing methods. Directs the implementation of best practices to continually increase the number, speed, and quality of hires.
Develops team assignments, monitors weekly progress and documents performance on individual scorecards; provides progress updates and reports to leadership as needed. Uses subject matter expertise to train and onboard new sourcing specialists, providing mentoring and coaching.
Develops enterprise sourcing strategies in partnership with leadership. Makes sourcing team and strategy decisions, as appropriate, relevant to team priorities.
Develops and shares subject matter expertise and that can be readily applied to new tasks. Develops and maintains internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to vendors, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Identifies and assesses business challenges using critical thinking, data collection methods, analysis and experience to identify and implement solutions in a timely manner. Participates in strategic workforce planning
Identifies, implements and improves best practices following the LEAN Human Capital methodologies to continually increase the number, speed, and quality of hires. Applies best practices to ensure a constant flow of high quality leads into assigned key pipelines and requisitions. Continually evaluates sourcing strategies using various data collection and assessment techniques.
Participates in the creation and presentation of the sourcing strategy briefs with the strategy team to executives and other stakeholders.
Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies in order to properly identify new venues for attracting qualified candidates.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Human Resources, Communication, Marketing, Social Science(s), or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing or recruitment in either a corporate or agency environment
At least 1 year of prior experience in leading teams or management/supervisor experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication, Marketing, Social Science(s), or related field
Talent and/or sourcing experience in a healthcare environment
Experience with social networking, talent search engines, social media, job boards, and candidate databases
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Sr. Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), or Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
Recruiting certification such as Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) or another recruitment-specific certification issued by AIRS Recruiter Academy
