The position encompasses strategic planning, contract negotiation, project management, application/database design, development, installation, support, monitoring and day to day operational activities. The Manager will partner with Technology and Business teams alike to realize MultiCare Health System Goals. The ideal candidate for this position has worked in a development and/or database environment as a Development/Design Engineer, Integration Engineer or Systems Architect. Work situations are a combination of technical, clinical, financial and administrative responsibilities ranging from basic to complex and require critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, leadership and system analysis. Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years in Systems or Database Engineering and/or OperationsTen (10) years progressive experience in information services developing, implementing, operating, maintaining servers/systems, or relational database management systems, data warehousing.Three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is required.Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field requiredA combination of post high-school education and 8 years of recent relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree requirement, with HR Compensation approval and provided the individual commits to pursuing and completing the graduate degree within a specified time frame.
