Responsibilities
The Rehabilitative Services department is seeking a Occupational Therapist Summer Intern to assist the team with the provision of care to patients on their caseload. Includes administrative and clerical functions as well as assisting with patient care. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Function as a rehab aide
Work alongside Occupational Therapists
Interact with a variety of patients in an academic medical setting
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
Preferred students currently pursuing MS in Occupational Therapy
Be in good academic standing
US Citizen or permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
Team-oriented
Highly motivated
