The role you’ll contribute:
The Speech Therapist provides self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Speech Pathology Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (S): “Speech Pathologist means a person who is licensed and who practices speech therapy in accordance with this chapter.

The Speech-Language Therapist will practice within Scope of Standards of Physical Medicine Practice.
Collects comprehensive data pertinent to patients’ health or situation. Performs consults as indicated from database collection.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine course of treatment.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.
The patient’s Plan of Care is developed to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of expected outcomes.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum requirements:
Master’s degree in speech therapy
Current State of Florida State License
Certificate of Clinical Competence via The FL DOH, Board of Speech Pathology
BLS certification
Preferred qualifications:
Two years of clinical experience with a varied patient population
Head and Neck experience strongly preferred
