The role you’ll contribute:
Under the direction of the Director, the Senior Manager serves as a crucial strategic and operational partner, change agent, and valued advisor for leadership program planning, development and implementation. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading comprehensive methods to also monitor the execution of multiple and interrelated learning programs and top learning initiatives required for the achievement of AdventHealth’s Leadership Institute within the Dynamic Learning Community. Partners closely and provides integrated thinking with business partners and learning leaders across all corporate functions and regions to determine design elements and technologies that yield innovative, engaging, and compelling learning experiences that reflect the strategic learning initiatives that are prioritized. This individual has the mental agility to be both a strategic thinker and a tactical leader, capable of understanding and communicating alignment of initiatives to the learning vision as well as project timeline and objectives, value propositions, and resource requirements, in collaboration with the Director
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Align development, management, and execution of critical projects, in collaboration with the Director and Manager
Work collaboratively with the Director for creating the strategic goals and direction of the unit
Provide facilitation, curricular content development and other program execution aspects, as assigned by the Director
Drive the implementation of strategic learning initiatives by structuring complex issues into phased workstreams and deliverables
Stay abreast on industry trends through internal and external research, data analysis, and synthesis, and articulate findings, considerations, and recommendations for organizational learning and development resources
Coordinate, implement, and track outcomes, with reporting to stakeholders
Create and implement professional development strategies that align with the learning and development needs of the organization.
Build, recommend, and coordinate long-term plans and strategies associated with organizational initiatives.
Ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeline established by the Leadership Institute VP and Director
Work collaboratively with all workstreams within the Leadership Institute and Dynamic Learning units
Develop processes for continuous improvement
Oversee the responsibilities of the Program Manager
Collaborate with all stakeholder groups to execute strategic learning objectives while aligning work and roles to ensure implementation and alignment
Maintain professional knowledge of innovative and current practices in learning science, career development, and technology through research, analysis, and participation in professional development.
Enhance the organization’s learning culture by incorporating the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives of the organization
Support and advance spiritual formation in all programming initiatives
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master’s Degree in learning, education, business, healthcare or related field
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing and implementing one or more of the following: leadership & organizational development strategies, organizational change management, organizational improvement and/or process improvement programs, succession planning, employee training, and performance management programs.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience leading teams and individuals to high performance
Knowledge of learning theories
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Doctoral degree is preferred
10 years’ experience with curriculum development, corporate learning, or adult education
5 years management experience
Familiarity with best practices in the learning and development
Experience with the implementation of professional development
Experience with technology enablement of HR and learning-related programs
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Certifications related to any aspect of leadership training (LPI, DiSC etc.)
Project Management Certification (PMP) or Change Management
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
