Role Purpose
Under moderate direction, the Release Management Analyst for Epic is responsible for the migration and release of build between Epic environments. Works with analysts on changes to verify testing, change control, and communication have been completed. Uses Data Courier and Content Management to move approved build during, and outside, approved change windows. Performs environment validation during maintenance windows. Assists Data Courier Administrators with the support and training of analysts on Data Courier, Change Control and Content Management.
Responsibilities
Migrate changes to the production environment in accordance with established change review process and in partnership with application analyst team. As part of release management duties, perform release note review for new updates. Additionally, provide on call support for any Epic Emergency changes. Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalate appropriately.
Provide organization support for the enterprise change management practice. Support Technical Change Management (TCM) Board meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes and facilitating change discussions. Work with the team to maintain and continuously improve the organizational CM/RM framework, including policies, processes and procedures.
Support related testing and training responsibilities. Assist analysts in testing changes that will be migrated to a production environment. Train and support on how to use the Data Courier in non-production environments; providing training and support on how to use Content Management.
Define, design, develop, implement, produce and support change management and release management extracts, reports, spreadsheets, dashboards and reports for various levels of management and staff. Use data to inform recommendations presented to management.
Interface across the organization with groups and individuals as needed on change related matters and respond to change related questions; ensure that changes have appropriate levels of communication and coordination across the enterprise.
