St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Applications Training & Support Supervisor to join our Patient Services Care team.
Unit/Position SummaryThe Applications Training & Support Supervisor provides day-to-day oversight of roughly 15 direct reports and technical training and support functions. The ATS Supervisor works with system stakeholders to ensure high quality training development and delivery. The ATS Supervisor is responsible for ensuring end users receive the knowledge and skills needed to function safely, efficiently, and effectively withinclinical and business applications.

Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day oversight, expertise and mentorship to the staff. May serve as project manager for moderately complexenhancement requests.
- Serves as an escalation point for troubleshooting moderately complex identified mSL and other end user facing system issues.
- May lead root cause analysis and resolve problems through appropriate methodologies and communicationwith end-users and service line leaders.
- In collaboration with end users and system leadership, the ATSS supervisor provides oversight of training, real-time support, and accurate workflows, to create an optimal environment for enabling safe, effective, and efficient utilization of mSL and other health information technologies.
- Serves as an initial escalation point for review of system enhancement and build requests to validate appropriateness for escalation to build/governance review.
- Facilitates coordination of staff education with other disciplines and providers. As needed, provides supplemental support inperforming competency assessments related to provider/clinician EMR use; documents findings, analyzes training needs, delivers targeted training plans.
- Monitors clinician efficiency datasets to recommend targeted and purposeful interventions.
- Deploys surveys and other training quality mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training interventions
- Provides supplemental coaching, mentorship, and elbow support to gain and maintain end user competency for any gaps incoverage.
- Ensures quality and accuracy of local competency checklists for any applicable clinical and/or business application, toensure end users have knowledge needed to complete critical workflows (i.e., ensuring delivery of mSL education that could not occur during initial on-boarding).
- Provides oversight of the development and analyzing of existing training materials; ensures the integration and availability ofsubject matter experts to validate training documents/curriculum requiring updating.
- Ensures Epic training environment is maintained and up-to-date to support training needs.
- Manages portfolios of enhancements/requests to ensure appropriate levels of resources, prioritization and completion of requests.
- Supplements system go-live support for new implementations and enhancements.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of communication of system changes (e.g., upgrade announcements, individual enhancements, etc.) and downtimes to appropriat areas of the organization.
- May be asked to lead and/or facilitate local and informatics governance as needed for decision making, content reviews,prioritization, and subject matter expertise.
- Provides oversight of a local level subject matter expert program, empowering local leaders with knowledge and skills needed to work through basic issues and answer basic end user questions.
- Responsible for full employment life cycle for staff to include hiring, termination, performance management, coaching, training,and mentoring to staff.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
