BJC is hiring for a Business Process Analyst. This person will be responsible for assisting in process improvement in the Supply Chain area.

Role Purpose
The Business Process Analyst partners closely with business leaders, stakeholders and technology teams to serves as the principal conduit for analyzing the workflow and process improvement intended to bring increased business value. This role discovers, models, analyzes, measures, improves and optimizes business process. The analyst maintains a strong understanding of business process, roles and responsibilities and related information technology services to aid in identification and validation of change initiatives that will deliver the most beneficial results. The business value can be measured through operational reliability and quality, return on investment as well as scalability.
Responsibilities
Practices and advocates for business process analysis and optimization through a combination of regimented process discovery and review workshops, identifying weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, identifying and defining measurable performance metrics, and collaborating towards building and deploying improved processes in partnership with business and technology team stakeholders and user groups.
Creates current state business process workflows, mapping and artifacts based on people, process and technology. Demonstrates understanding of current business process and systems within area of focus to inform analysis and recommendations. Participates in establishing a business case justification.
Plans for and documents the to-be state and perform alternatives analysis and high-level costing for these possible alternatives and to validate potential value through these opportunities.
Define and create meaningful reporting to track progress/results of process changes, and identify new areas where improvement is needed
Act as a change agent and help business partners self-assess business operations with the intent of fostering continuous improvement. Performs stakeholder impact analysis, analyze the needs/concerns/expectations of each group to inform change management planning and activities.
