DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator works collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff internally and externally to process oral medication prescriptions at the Cancer Center. The Coordinator is responsible for all steps of the workflow from prescription to delivery of medication to the patient. The Coordinator counsels patients on the process to obtain the oral medication, which includes the insurance eligibility, financial assistance, shipping requirements and education for compliance with prescription. Communicates politely, effectively and respectfully of all the programs available for financial assistance within the community and the hospital for patient assistance.
