Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Manager 2 Practice to join our Treasure Valley Orthopedics team.

Unit/Position Summary

Manages a site, provider or clinic in a manner that ensures patient care is delivered in a safe, timely and patient-centered manner. Focuses on implementation of operational plans that lead to achievement of strategic initiatives. Oversees the daily operations of a moderate sized clinic(s) and staff.

Typically responsible for 10+ providers; 25+ FTE's and 2+ clinics in a 50 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Monitors practice activities to ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations and practice standards.
• Leads the identification and implementation of short and long-term goals for the practice, and ensures their achievement.
• Manages staff, handles operational issues, resolves client issues, and administers the budget.
• Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in an office.
• Requires an in-depth knowledge in management, accounting, human resources, law, ethics, economics, strategic planning, and information systems.
• Communicates accurate and pertinent information with providers and staff to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience: 2 years's experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: None
