The Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) Information Services (IS) Planning, Finance and Administration function encompasses: (1) the IS Planning Operations team, which provides intake, triage, and governance for IS project demands; (2) the IS Project Management Office (PMO) which provides oversight of project execution, project tool and standards, and project quality; (3) the IS Finance team, which handles IS financial budgeting, forecasting, and financial support; and (4) the IS Administration team which provides administrative support to IS leadership and assists with human resources and facilitates management.
The Associate FIT Portfolio Manager is a leader in the IS PMO function who is responsible for providing oversight of project execution for projects in the Facilities Infrastructure Team (FIT) portfolio, which focuses on IS effort for facilities construction, relocation, and remodeling projects; (2) ensuring project managers working in their portfolio are trained and follow the IS PMO standards for tools, quality and communications; and (3) working with BSWH project business sponsors to resolve conflicts and ensure successful project execution. The role requires a person who must be action and results-oriented, a "take-charge" leader with strong communications (written and spoken), leadership, negotiating and project management skills.
SALARY
The pay range for this position is $86,008 (entry-level qualifications) - $150,300 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
·Provides oversite to Managed Service Providers, contract, and BWSH project managers.
·Accountability for ensuring successful project execution in assigned portfolio.
·Ensures all project managers adhere to all IS PMO standards and tools.
·Assists IS PMO team with development of standards and tools.
·Develops deeper understanding of the healthcare industry relative to the assigned portfolio and BSWH operations.
·Manage artifacts, decisions, communications, metrics and reporting for assigned portfolio area. Builds strong relationships within BSWH business leaders and IS leaders to understand the business challenges and opportunities for assigned portfolio area.
