Job Summary
The Reporting Analyst Sr. - ERP is an integral part of the Data and Analytics Team and is responsible for the architecture, design, development, operationalization of business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and other data views, to meet the needs of customers for various data sources. The Reporting Analyst Sr. - ERP will have extensive interaction with operational team members and leadership and will be tasked with analysis of business data and analytics requirements, and the transformation of those requirements into analytics solutions. In addition to management & prioritization of personal work, this person will also assist the manager in prioritization of the demand for the team and work with customers on request governance. Work closely on the planning and execution with the IT on any upgrades and the affects it will have on the standard and custom reports. This person will actively mentor the junior members in the team on all technical and functional aspects of the subject area. As a senior technical member of the team, this person will also set the standards, best practices, and works with Reporting Analyst ERP to enforce the standards. Strong project management skills; ability to formulate action plans and timelines and to execute those plans; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong analytical skills to interpret, adapt, known methods, system procedures or operating concepts to new situations. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team efforts, willingness to challenge established practices draw relevant conclusions. Leads and coaches team members to achieve goals, objectives and personal growth.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications: Additional applicable software experience will be considered. (Must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire).
Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree Required in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of Bachelors Degree, related experience in the field, ten (10) years progressively responsible, professional job specific work experience and an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of six (6)+ years of experience developing adhoc and structured reports is required. At least two (2) years of Workday report development experience is required. Should have strong experience writing queries using SQL. Should have experience working closely with end users in multiple departments to identify and troubleshoot reporting issues. Should have experience providing operational support to the business.

Must be able to function in dynamic environment subject to changes in schedules and priorities, working on multiple projects/ issues concurrently. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems supported.
Ability to learn rapidly and to apply formal training to new software environments.
Experience in analytics specification gathering, reviews, solution design, estimation and general planning for project execution, monitoring and control.
Experience with best practices in report development and the ability to set standards & guidelines for efficient design and development
Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculated fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization
Knowledge of change management processes to fulfill audit requirements
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Maintains a service oriented approach with customers, providing follow up and responding to issues/ concerns in a timely manner. Answer staff and client questions in person, via email and via phone. Provide after-hours on-call support on a scheduled basis. Responsible for ensuring service level agreement adherence.
Creates standard or custom reports, dashboards, views, etc. summarizing clinical, financial, or operational data for review by executives, managers, physicians and other stakeholders using reporting tools or can demonstrate how they have learned new tools very quickly.
Utilizes the report request and development process, including the development of an understanding of a report request, assessment of the appropriate tool to be used to provide the data, creation of a report specification in partnership with the operational stakeholder and application analyst, development of the report and validation of the report by the operational stakeholder to ensure quality, timeliness and accountability.
Assists with all upgrade, update or enhancement efforts associated with the business intelligence tools.
Works with other analysts to integrate data from other source systems to form richer data sets, including the capture of derived data to address gaps in source system repositories.
Conducts or coordinates tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs.
Responsible for data collection/extraction using SQL scripts, indexes and complex queries and developing methods for database design and validation reports.
Prepares and maintains key documents and technical specifications for new and existing solutions.
Documents specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs.
Works closely with end-users to identify and explain data and reporting discrepancies.
Monitors incident management queue. Efficiently troubleshoot, resolve, report and close active issues.
Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculated fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization.
