Role Purpose
The Senior Field Technology Support (FTS) Analyst has developed a mastery in at least one area of FTS responsibility (configuration or deployment) and is recognized as a go-to resource in that area. The Senior FTS Analyst is working in the alternate discipline (configuration or deployment) to develop a comprehensive understanding of the full breadth of technology managed within the FTS function. The person in this role is the face of IT for the end users they interact with and as such much have a pleasant demeanor and enjoy supporting people with technical issues and needs.
Responsibilities
Installs or removes system components using supplied installation instructions and tools.
Conducts standard tests and contributes to investigations of problems and faults.
Contributes to the operational configuration of network components.
Applies tools, techniques and processes to administer, track, log, report on and correct configuration items, components and changes.
Assists with audits to check the accuracy of the information and undertakes any necessary corrective action under direction.
