JOB SUMMARYThe Program Coordinator for Oncology is accountable for coordinating oncology accreditation and special projects and/or coordinating cancer conferences and research and treatment center activities. The Program Coordinator for Oncology will also ensure that the Cancer Program meets the accreditation guidelines established by the American College of Surgeons, works very closely with the inpatient oncology units and the medical staff as it relates to Cancer Program activities and is accountable for the successful facilitation of oncology-related multidisciplinary case conferences as well as oncology Research & Treatment Center meetings and coordination of related follow-up activities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEOrga
