Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Manager, Electrical

Role Overview:

• Manage, guide, and advise Electric Shop staff in daily operations.
• Oversee departmental HR functions, development, time management, attendance, and discipline.
• Foster cooperative working relationships and promote a culture of safety and compliance.
• Manage maintenance, repair, operation, and alteration of electrical systems.
• Review contractor installations for quality and compliance with MSK standards.
• Perform trade-specific work as needed while ensuring up-to-date knowledge of codes and standards.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in electrical maintenance/engineering, with 5+ years in healthcare managing 15+ staff.
• Extensive experience managing a team, ideally in a healthcare environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and operation of complex machinery.

Core Skills:

• Leadership and mentorship to ensure team proficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in technical and operational aspects of electrical systems.
• Administrative abilities, including scheduling, planning, and organizing.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
• Inspection and quality control of contractor work.

Additional Information:

• Reporting to: Associate Director, Equipment, Refrigeration & Inventory
• Pay Range: $118,800.00-$196,200.00
